New for 2013...

So, I've been a little lax this January with my posts, but that doesn't mean nothing has been going on for The Staylyns.

Since our awesome gig at the Pleasure Pier in Galveston, we have been busy with fun stuff like private gigs, un-fun stuff like preparing our taxes (did I say "un-fun"? What I meant was "our civic duty, which we are honored to do" - just in case The Man reads this), and super AWESOME stuff like rolling out our new signage and merch promoting our 2013 sponsors!

You read that right - The Staylyns are sponsored for 2013!!

We'd like to send a great big thank you out to all of our sponsors for this year: SolutionStream, Cirrus Logic, First Texas Honda and Rocket Electrics. The Staylyns had a fantastic year in 2012, and these companies are helping us to be able to do even more in 2013. You guys rock!

In other news, we also recently got some new band photos taken by the uber-talented Carlos Barron, Jr:

We designed new show posters with our new photos and sponsor logos, and we've started distributing those to some of the venues where we play:

We'll be back in action for a public gig next Friday, Feb. 1, at Junior's Ice House in Round Rock, 9:30-11:30pm. So if it's been a little while since you've seen us, what with all the hustle and bustle of the holidays and the new year, come on out to Round Rock - we'll be waiting for you on the back deck!
